Sark has been endorsed by the UK Home Office Slash Resistant Standard (HOSDB 2006) which is the only UK Government test specifically created to measure slash resistance in fabric.
Sark is a Level 5 BS EN388:2003 lightweight material which uses innovative production techniques to knit fibres and polymers for outstanding slash resistant performance. With several performance and weight grades we’re confident we’ll have a product suitable for your project. Sark is the only knitted product to achieve complete compliance with the home office slash proof Level 2. In fact, Sark massively outperformed the Home office tests and is the only product to have done so.
Sark doesn’t just deliver slash resistant capability. Sark delivers outstanding Martindale test results demonstrating incredible resistance to abrasion.
Sark is a material which is comfortable to wear and provides a breathable, pliant and protective layer which can be used as a stand alone garment material or be delivered as an integral component in safety wear.
