Future Textiles Limited (FTL) resides on the edge of the Peak District. The area traditionally has had strong textile production links and as a result there is a wealth of skills and experience on hand.
Formed in 2008 by Aidan Tracey FTL has grown year on year. Although a small company we are extremely proud of the heritage that we are creating. Aidan has over 30 years of textile manufacturing experience and brings with him a wide range of contacts and technical know how.
Alongside Aidan is Nick Tucker who has extensive sales and marketing experience both in the UK and abroad. Nick’s role is to push the business forward and capitalise on the market opportunities FTL possess.
Our products cover three main areas:-
- Organic Wool Garments based on locally sourced Peak District herds & traditional English breeds,
- Slash resistant fabric called “Sark Slashproof”, an innovation which is transforming the PPE market, and
- Knitted medical garments designed to reduce discomfort and infection through copper protection.
At FTL we are committed to quality control. In 2010 we implemented a new production control regime to ensure that all our products deliver consistently to the highest level.
